IMPORTANT NOTICE

MANDATORY USE OF PERSONAL FLOTATION DEVICES (PFDs) 

After months of exploring every possible avenue for an exemption, we must confirm that all athletes will be required to wear a Personal Flotation Device (PFD) during competition, in compliance with Singapore's legal regulations.

✅ Accepted PFD certifications:

  • USCG Type III (or Type I/II)

  • ISO 12402 – Level 50, 50S, or 100+
     

🚫 NOT accepted:

  • Inflatable life jacket or paddling vest
